Travel Assistance
Travel Assistance is one of the most valuable types of coverage you can choose during your trip to help you get around and protect you if something happens.

- Assistance filing and recovering lost or stolen travel documents

Medical Coverage
Mexico has a national health care system, but it only provides coverage for citizens with no reciprocal medical arrangements with any foreign countries. While health care is less expensive in Mexico than the United States, it is still very important to have coverage, especially considering your health insurance plan may not protect you. Our Diamond Program includes medical coverage that:
- Helps you obtain emergency medical care
- Assists you to obtain air or land ambulance service
- Pays up to $60 per day for up to 10 days at a hotel for convalescence after hospitalization
- Pays for repatriation of mortal remains
- If travel companions or family members are hospitalized for more than 5 days, your policy pays for roundtrip land or air tickets and lodging up to $60 per day for up to 5 days
- If a beneficiary passes away, your policy covers land or air transportation or travel companions to continue the trip or return home
Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance helps you get back on the road or tows you and your vehicle back to the United States from Mexico. If you experience a breakdown or an accident in Mexico, roadside assistance will do the following:
- Emergency fuel delivery, jump start, flat tire service, or unlocking service
- Pay for transportation of a relief driver if necessary due to death or illness of a beneficiary
- Arrange and cover the cost of shipping necessary spare parts
- Arrange and cover the cost of towing up to $300 or 2 events per policy period
- In the event of a mechanical breakdown or accident, your policy covers transportation of you and up to 4 companions back home or continuing your trip
- If repairs or the recovery of a stolen vehicle take more than 24 hours, your policy pays for the rental of a medium-sized vehicle for up to two days and lodging for up to 2 nights
Legal Assistance
Having legal assistance coverage in your tourist auto policy is important because it protects you if you are the victim of a crime, are involved in an accident or encounter trouble. Our Diamond Program offers increased legal assistance to $25,000 for legal fees and bail bonds.
